Sparrow Lite

Sparrow_LiteSparrow Lite makes its debut in the Mac App Store.

Sparrow is “The New Mail for Mac”. Cult of Mac has a really short post about the release. Sparrow is a minimalistic Gmail client for the Mac. It looks a lot like a Twitter client on the surface.

The free Lite version allows you to use one Gmail account but you can see if Sparrow is a mail client that you can use. I use the full version of Sparrow and I love it. I’m looking forward to the implementation of IMAP which is currently being tested for the next release.

MailboxSo which email client, or software, is best suited for the way you work? Well Mac|Life puts six Mac-friendly email clients to the test.

This from Mac|Life article, “Despite the rise of Facebook, Twitter, and other social media, email remains something that we all use every day. And while more and more people have been using web-based clients such as Hotmail and Gmail over the past few years, a rich, desktop-based client still has some key advantages.”, and I have to agree with them. Email is a big part of my life and I use a variety of email clients.
